BARBER CROSSOVER PROGRAM
Master Cosmetologists to Master Barber Requirements
In order to be licensed as a master barber, a person licensed as a master cosmetologist must pass the master barber examination. Before taking the examination, a master cosmetologist must submit proof of successfully completing a total of 300 credit hours of training in a board-approved cosmetology school in the following subjects:

Theory - (60 Credit Hours)

Hairstyling Techniques/Clipper Cutting - (115 Credit hours)

Shaving/Trimming Beards - (50 Credit hours)

Additional Instructions - (75 Credit hours)

Master Barber to Master Cosmetologists Requirements
